Privacy Policy

This policy explains what TrafficFilter stores, why, and how to have it deleted. It covers two groups of people: account holders, and the visitors whose requests an account holder's connector sends to us.

Account holders

• Account: your email address, a hash of your password (never the password itself) and when the account was created.
• Session: a cookie that keeps you signed in to the dashboard.
• Configuration: your links, filters, rules and the pages you upload or generate.
• Billing: the plan, period, amount and status of each invoice, and the payment provider's invoice reference. We never see your wallet's private keys.

Visitors checked by a connector

For each request, the connector sends the visitor's IP address, user agent, Accept-Language, referrer, query string and request headers. We store a click record with the time, link, decision and reason, the IP address, user agent, country, device, operating system, browser, language, referrer host, network facts from the IP lookup (ASN, ISP, organisation, network type, VPN/proxy) and a short list of request headers that explain the request. Cookies and authorization headers are never stored.

The account holder decides which visitors are filtered and is responsible for informing their visitors. We process this data on the account holder's behalf, to make the decision and to show the account holder's stats.

Who else processes data

• IP lookup provider: visitor IP addresses are sent to an IP data service to learn country, time zone, ISP and network type.
• Payment provider: payments are handled on NOWPayments' hosted page, under their own privacy terms.
• AI model provider: when you create a page with AI, your topic, notes and choices are sent to an AI model provider to write the page.

We do not sell personal data.

How long we keep it

Click records are kept while the link exists: deleting a link deletes its click log. Deleting an account deletes its links, pages and click records. To delete your account, email hello@trafficfilter.app from the address you signed up with.
